 The research paper is a large essay assigned each year during the first quarter.  It is a formal presentation of information gathered from various sources and synthesized into a cohesive essay.

Each paper must include a title page, a blank page, an outline, the body of the paper, and a bibliography.  For your convenience, I have included a link to a title page constructed in Microsoft Word so that you may download it and customize it with your information.

The body length of the research paper varies with grade level as shown below:

 Remember that the same conventions are required in writing the research paper as with all written essays.  The paper must use 12 point Times New Roman, double spacing, and a one-inch margin around the edge of the paper.
